Happy summer!
JULY 29 I will also be dropping my new BILINGUAL BRIGHT TRAVEL BUNDLE! I am very excited about this update. When I looped up to second grade, I didn’t want to keep the same theme two years in a row (Ms. Porter’s Paradise). I kept searching and searching, but nothing I found a) matched my color scheme (i.e. all of the many different boxes I had bought from the Target July Teacher Haul each summer), and b) was available in Spanish and English. I have always loved to travel, and my students were from many different countries. Thus, the Bilingual Bright Travel Bundle was born! I paired this set with maps from around the world (even going so far as to cut one out of an old display the school was throwing away!) and flags from all the different Spanish-speaking countries. My second-graders loved looking at the maps, finding places they’d been to or that we had read about in books, and seeing their own country acknowledged in the classroom. It has honestly been my favorite decor I’ve ever used!
