Hello! I have been a bilingual educator for over seven wonderful years, spanning kindergarten through second grade. My passion is literacy and language arts in particular. I enjoy creating classroom materials, including decorations, rigorous activities, and teacher resources. I am also a professional learning specialist and a consultant for the Texas Education Agency.
My specialty is two way dual language education. This style program consists of 50% native English speakers and 50% native Spanish speakers, all learning to become bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural together.
I began my educational journey teaching French to preschool through second grade at a small private school in Bryan, Texas in 2014. I quickly learned that there are not many resources available for French lower elementary education! This is where my passion for curriculum design began, born out of necessity and creativity.
During COVID-19, as I mourned the loss of the school year with my precious students, I began to invest more in TPT.com. Having created many of my own materials for years, I wanted to invest that energy into something I could share with other educators like me. Learning to market myself and my products has been a journey, and one that I am continuously growing from.
